Is Diablo: Unbound on Gamefound or Kickstarter?
Diablo: Unbound is on Gamefound. Glass Cannon Unplugged (GCU) opened the pre-launch page there on 21 October 2026, and its blog post is titled around the game coming to Gamefound in Q1 2027. GCU has not announced a Kickstarter campaign for Diablo: Unbound.
The confusion is understandable. GCU is also behind Diablo: The Roleplaying Game, a tabletop roleplaying game that has its own Kickstarter page. Both carry the Diablo name and come from the same publisher, so searches mix them.

Which page should you follow?
Follow the page that matches the game you want. For the board game that is the Gamefound pre-launch page. For the roleplaying game it is the Kickstarter page. The Treasure Goblin gift only exists on the Gamefound side: GCU describes it as a Gamefound-exclusive Follower Gift for people who follow the campaign and later back any physical pledge. The Treasure Goblin page has the details.

What does the publisher say, exactly?
Three statements carry the answer, and all three are the publisher’s own. The game page says the pre-launch page is live on Gamefound and that the full campaign launches in Q1 2027. The blog post of 21 October 2026 puts the platform in its title. A GCU staff comment on Gamefound adds the caveat that the final campaign date may change.
Notice what is missing. None of those pages says the board game will never appear on another platform; they only say where the pre-launch page is and where the campaign is planned. We report that as “not announced” for Kickstarter rather than as a promise.
What does the Gamefound page show today?
The pre-launch page is short and mostly a signpost. It lists the game as a cooperative dungeon battler for one to four players, with a play time of 90 minutes and an age rating of 14 and up. Its tagline invites you to slay the hordes, seize legendary loot and challenge the Lord of Terror himself. The more useful content is in the staff replies in the comments, where GCU staff answer questions about the campaign date, the two expected editions and which Diablo games the design draws on.
That comment thread is also where the publisher repeats the caveat that the rules, assets and artwork are all subject to change. Because those replies sit below the page text, they are easy to miss, and we link to them wherever we rely on them. Outside Gamefound, GCU points fans to its official Discord for contests, polls and Tabletop Simulator playtests.
Does this tracker cover the roleplaying game?
No. This wiki follows Diablo: Unbound, the board game. For the roleplaying game, use GCU’s own page and the Kickstarter listing; we do not verify its campaign status here. If GCU moves the board game to another platform, the release tracker will show the old and new value and the date we saw it.
